Industrial architecture
It was within the Swiss Jura, in La Chaux-de-Fonds, mentioned as a watchmaking centre from the mid-18th Century, that Constant Girard set up the Girard-Perregaux Manufacture. Located in the west part of the town, various buildings just a few metres apart housed the Brand's different activities.
