Bautte FAMILY

Jean-François Bautte (1772-1837), the founder of the firm bearing his name, and with whom the most distant origins of Girard-Perregaux are associated, began this tradition: his son Jacques (1806-1885) and his son-in-law Jean-Samuel Rossel (1799-1881) took over from him, to be succeeded by his grandson Jacques Rossel (1824-1896).
