Decorations

The care taken with the decoration enhances each of its components. The decoration of each part is not solely a question of aesthetics, it also guarantees its technical perfection.

Among these adornments, engraving can be performed mechanically or manually to carve and trace delicate patterns, numerals or letters on a movement component. The Côtes de Genève used on the oscillating weight, bridges, main plate and visible parts of a movement are applied using a special rotating pads which, moved over the surface to be treated in parallel or circular lines, create a streaked and brushed pattern.

Many other operations (circular graining, satin finishing, skeleton working, enamelling...) can enhance various watch parts.
